Description
Punk Rocks! was photographed in Los Angeles in 2001 as part of the same GQ cover shoot with Pamela Anderson. After working for some time against a plain white background, I introduced a few simple graphic panels to break the monotony and give Pamela something physical to interact with during the shoot.
Those elements helped bring a different rhythm to the image. They added a strong graphic structure to the frame while allowing Pamela to move freely around them, creating shapes and lines that gave the photograph a sense of movement and energy.
