Description
Manga 3 is another image from the GQ editorial series photographed in London in 2003 and inspired by Japanese Manga imagery.
The photograph deliberately plays with some of the themes often found in Manga — sex, violence and beauty — combining them within a single frame. I have always felt that fashion images on their own are rarely enough, so whenever possible I try to push the narrative further and explore something more provocative.
I like my images to be emotive and challenging, and above all never boring.
